MUZAFFARGARH: The residents of Shehr Sultan of Muzaffargarh have been issued directives to evacuate in view of imminent flooding, Geo News reported Wednesday.
Shehr Sultan is surrounded by floodwater on all its sides, as the water pressure is mounting on a bund constructed here on self-help basis.
All the villages in Union Council of Umarpur situated to the north of Khangarh have been deluged.
Meantime, Pak Army and Rescue crew continued to rescue the marooned people on the flooded areas.
The flood-affected people staying at Government Boys High School complained of non-availability of relief help.
