As we drive on the Indus highway from cadet college Petaro to Sann. There are IDP sites on both sides of the highway. Lack of food, water and medical facilities are apparent when we visited these areas.

These IDPs require immediate attention as many of the IDP sites consists of women and children only, as their men have decided stay back and protect the property. Some of these women are pregnant and are in need of proper medical attention. Shortage of water exists at every IDP site and the available water is contaminated and which might lead to stomach related diseases.

As more water is entering in the corresponding villages from Petaro to Sann. The no. of IDP sites will increase.
