We drove around 1.5 km along the canal road (off mehmood kot road) and saw about 30 families dislocated from their settlements in the periphery of mehmood kot and there were more of them further down that road. Mehmood kot had been evacuated already and many of its residents are living by the roadside (mehmood kot road) in makeshift tents or even without them. The population along the canal road are mostly people whose agricultural lands and homes have been flooded and they belong to Budh and areas along the mehmood kot road.
