Flooding and destruction in Madyan (Swat valley), Pakistan has washed away roads, bridges and power lines, taking everything in the water's path including people's homes.
1. All bridges have been washed away, the few left standing are useless, completely no access to locals over there with the outside world. Army will be completing or would have completed its first bridge today or by tomorrow which will help relief aid through roads(please refer to date above).
2. Grid station has been washed away, there is no electricity, only generators for the lucky ones.
3. The army is doing everything, Swat is lucky to have army already settled over there, otherwise it would have taken the locals a month to seek out help with the outside world.
4. River beds have completely been revamped and widened.
5. Rations from anywhere are being transferred by Pakistan and US Army Heli's. US is really helping us out on this one, they have bigger, and weather proof, helicopters that can carry upto 11-12tons
6. Zong is working for communication
